Position Title: Project Engineer #1291


Responsible for supporting manufacturing CNC machining operations while continually driving improvements. Provide CNC programming and engineering support/troubleshoot machining capability issues/design special tools-cutters for new products and process improvement/develop processes, routings, work instructions, fixtures and control plans for new programs/research and recommend capital equipment purchases/manage multiple projects and cost, performance and goals/work with operators and technicians to continuously improve processes, capabilities, and efficiency/schedule required meetings and collaborate with team members as needed/coordinate with customers and suppliers as necessary.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing principals such as 5S, SMED, Kaizen, Standard Work, Takt Time, etc/Six Sigma project experience/PPAP experience a plus/skill in using CAD, CAM, or similar engineering tools (Pro/E,CATIA V5, Esprit)/familiar with machine controls and capable of editing CNC programs/effective communication and presentation skills/strong analytical ability and initiative.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical Technology or Manufacturing Technology and a minimum of 2 years experience in the field.
